Telemon’s first full calendar year of operations included a number of highlights. As we all know, thoroughbred breeding and racing can be a rollercoaster ride. With a new year on us, here is a reflection of our many special moments in 2019 in pictures. Jungle Cat won the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai. In each performance he produced a ‘performance rating’ bettered only by Trapeze Artist among the sprinters standing their first season at stud in 2019. Last week for the first time, we attended the stud open house weekend across the Hunter Valley followed by a stopover at Telemon on our way home. It was a week of special memories and put many things in context including the massive injection our industry makes to the economy.
