In great news, Darley Stallions and Telemon Thoroughbreds have announced that SIDESTEP will continue to stand in Queensland.
Sidestep launches into the new year with multiple winners
Telemon foundation stallion SIDESTEP has had a prolific start to 2020. From his past nine runners he has sired three new winners with another three runner-up. This string of strong performers comes on the back of the stallion covering his highest quality book of mares across the latest Spring, heavily supported by leading local and interstate breeders.

Jungle Cat won the Group 1 Sir Rupert Clarke Stakes and the Group 1 Al Quoz Sprint in Dubai. In each performance he produced a ‘performance rating’ bettered only by Trapeze Artist among the sprinters standing their first season at stud in 2019. Our stallion tour of the Hunter Valley & Telemon
Last week for the first time, we attended the stud open house weekend across the Hunter Valley followed by a stopover at Telemon on our way home. It was a week of special memories and put many things in context including the massive injection our industry makes to the economy.

Telemon Thoroughbreds today paused to toast their Champion First Season sire SIDESTEP. The young son of EXCEED AND EXCEL added the honour to his title of Champion 2YO Colt of 2013 and joined an illustrious group.
A breeding dream for Queensland’s Fletcher family
