Telemon’s first full calendar year of operations included a number of highlights. As we all know, thoroughbred breeding and racing can be a rollercoaster ride. With nominations in place for the 2020 Longines Golden Slipper, owners and breeders can daydream about Australian racing and breeding’s most coveted prize. Sidestep sired last year’s winner Kiamichi from his first crop which was a bolt of lightning for Telemon!
Owning a multiple Group 1 winning filly is what dreams are made of. Couple that with purchasing a stud and standing a Golden Slipper producing stallion there in the first 12 months, and most reactions are simply ‘wow’. The owners are the Fletcher family and here is their story.
